Brand Vs Branding Vs Brand Strategy

Over the last 4 years, I have worked with a lot of brands. One thing I can tell you for a fact is; the brands that prioritize the funnels, email optimization and sales more than they prioritize the clients, don’t usually make the sales.

It’s the little brands that connect with the customer consistently that hit the 10k, 20k and 30k+ months.

The difference between the businesses that make sales and the ones that don’t is usually branding. Let me break that down.

Brand Vs Branding Vs Brand Strategy

Brand- A brand transcends colours, logos and taglines.

A brand is your clients’ expectations of your product/service. These expectations are formed over time. For instance, if you post good content consistently, your audience will learn to expect good things from you. In short, your brand is your reputation.

You might say your brand is awesome and amazing and that’s cute. But your brand is what people perceive it to be and not what YOU say it is.

Branding-  Branding is a process of developing great client relationships. It’s creating a story around how you want to be perceived by your audience.

That story is told by how you package products, the value you offer to individual clients, how you make your client feel, your social media graphics and your website’s UI/UX. Branding is the whole experience.

Remember, branding is not just about being seen as better than the competition. It’s about being seen as the only solution to your client’s problem.

Brand strategy– This is the blueprint your business will follow to ensure that the brand communication is effective.  It’s a long-term plan of action you use to help your clients stay loyal to your brand.
